Pre-operative Eye Examination for the diagnosed patients during the period of 15-18 May 2010 was conducted to examine the hospital and equipments by the Volunteer Eye Service Team from Hong Kong. The operative services are planned at the SSIUH for Eye Services for the people of Cambodia in October 2010. Dr. Ngaiwas kind enough and happy to deliver lectures to Doctors and Medical Students while Nurse Ms. Ho hold a session for Nurse and Nurse Students of International University respectively.
The plan of action was tabled as the following,:
15/5 (Saturday) for Year 5 Medical Students and
18/5 (Tuesday) for Doctors, Nurses in another lecture room.
Besides giving the lectures, the Eye Team visited the Operating Theatre and the Recovery Room at hospital.
Ms. Anita, Liaison for Volunteer Eye Service Team of Hong Kong and Vice-chairman of Happy Social Services (Hong Kong) was kind enough to coordinate for this entire event. The team after visiting the International University and Sen Sok International University Hospital was happy to see the facilities. They visited the different sections and departments of the hospital.
Sen Sok International University hospital is the first private Medical and Dental Teaching hospital in Cambodia dedicated and devoted to provide quality services to the people of Cambodia. The hospital welcomes the volunteers and guests to visit the hospital. Any individual or group interested in volunteer activities can contact the concerned department so that necessary arrangements can be done prior to his visit.
